oxycodone

So I have severe back pain and my dr. Has prescribed me a low dose of oxycododone, 5 mg to be exact. He says its safe to take during pregnancy and while Breastfeeding as long as its taken as needed and not regularly but im hesitant to put any narcotic in my body while pregnant.  I'm sitting here in agony with a pill in my hand debating whether or not to take it. Has anyone else taken it during pregnancy and had any issues related to it?

Oops accidently posted before I was done... The dr. Said it's such a small dose. I was gonna try at night to help me sleep. He said it's not harmful to the baby. It's class b which means it has no evidence of harm to the baby. Basically unless I'm taking it all day everyday there is no harm and no risk of withdrawal for baby. But.... i still don't like the idea of taking any narcotics pregnant or not. I'm gonna try to stick it out. I only have 6 weeks left :-)

I would rather try 2 Tylenol 500 more that narcotic. I had a major surgery last year and was prescribed those pills. I took only 2 from the bottle it may me feel high than relief my pain. So, I just took my Tylenol.
