pain medicine alternatives

Child birth is scaring me. (29 weeks) wondering what pain management methods/medicines you lovely ladies did before. First time mom here.

I did first all natural no pain meds or help with pain. Next three I was induced and for baby's health had epidural. The last I used hot water and did water birth. Water birth was best for pain and had no bad effects like epidural.

I go natural and use focus points and breathibg and counter pressure along with water to control my back labors

I've always had the epidural (twice) but this time I'm doing something different the back pains from the epidural is no joke

With my first child I was uneasy about doing the epidural because of the needle in your back.  I did a medicine that they inserted through my IV.  It eased the contractions at first but slowly got stronger with each one.  It completely wore off before I started pushing. Not sure if i'll give in and do the epidural this time around or not.

I'm tired of being in pain and I'm getting the epidural. My sciatica is acting up again and it's getting annoying.
