So I'm 24 weeks and all night long I have been having constipation pains (sorry tmi) they feel like contraction pains it hurts so bad. It feels like I'm trying to poo out of a pin hole. I took some colace but know it could take up to a day or so to kick in. It's like I can only pass gas or go poo which is like rabbit pebbles when the pain is intense. Haven't had these constipation issues since my first trimester. Anyone going thru this and what have you been able to do to alleviate the pain? I'm scaredto even go to bed because I know the pain will return and I'll be running to the toilet to barely get relief. Sorry for the long disgusting issue, but the ssucks

Eat a salad or canned spinach. That should do it. You need your fiber so you can go, and plenty of water to soften your stool.

Been there. Add some fiber and lots of water to your diet. And get up and move as much as possible. Hang in there!
