pedicures

Is it safe to get a pedicure at 29 weeks? I've heard foot massages can send you into labor, I don't plan on getting them massaged but they soaking them in water and getting some TLC would be SO nice right about now

I have a massage therapist that I use every 2 weeks or so. He told me that the area he has to stay away from on me is my ankles. Has nothing to do with feet vut he can no longer put my arms over my head to stretch me. He said doing that could cause the embilical cord to wrap around baby's neck.

Pedicures are good as long as you have all your own tools.. due to risk of infection even if you're not pregnant...

I feel guilty for spending the money but my feet are looking rough Lol. I wear flip flops because it's hot and my feet swell, and it's extremely hard to reach my toes to paint them. My hubby tried but...it wasn't pretty haha

It's perfectly fine. The warning about the calf massage sending u into labor is just a pressure point of some sort. Just let them know. I go all the time and I'm 35 wks :) or u can just ask to not get that area rubbed

I was getting pedicures until I was 33 weeks and there was no problems. I only stopped because my stomach was making it difficult to close and straighten my legs. I would definitely do it it feels great. They massaged my feet and legs  and sometimes even went rough with it. You'll be fine and enjoy it.
