I'm really happy you like Irene! It flows so well with her first name. Which by the way is beautiful! Take care :)
We.t by my grandmas retirement home and saw the name Pearl for a lady...to give another option.
I'm not too concerned about the name association, really the only people who will be saying the song will most likely be older people. My name is in a stupid old hippy song and I survived hearing about it.. Not a big deal really. We love the name clementine and when both mom n dad like and agree on a name, Itsa keeper!
I do like the the idea of rose, but I think I'm leaning more towards Irene, it flows nicely... Though Irene is a name in a CCR song! Man this kid will have it doubly bad.. Lol
Thank you ladies for all of your suggestions they really did help.
my friend has a girl with that name she is always called clem
Esther , mabel , Della , Rosella
I agree with Clementine Rose . . . you could call her 'My little Tiny Rose' for short, I totally would. Its nice to see the older names, Mine a 70s80s90s name and I don't like it, its boring and there isn't any way to have a nickname for it.
I was just thinking Rose would be pretty or Marie
Are you sure you want to name a baby Clementine? I'm a huge stickler for established, older names but that child is going to have people singing oohh m'darlinnn, oohh m'darlinnn all her life.
I am honestly not trying to be rude, but I think a child would grow so tired of that name, and everyone who hears it singing that song.
Maybe use Clementine as a middle name? I just think of people in my life who hate their names, and I think that one would be a difficult name to have.
Best wishes.
What about Jade, Grace, Fay, Rae, LeAnne
love clementine. I agree you want a short middle name, how about eve, ivy, may, hope, Jane?
How about Irene, Joy or Naomi. :)
How about Irene, Joy, or Naomi. :)
Mae, Lynn, Joy, Carol, Jean, Ann...there is a couple ideas.
How about Clementine Rose? Very botanical but it flows.
You don't have to have a middle name if you can't find one
I likre the older names too. My dd name is Lydia
Marie would sound nice w it. That's my grandmoms name and I don't hear it very often.
My 5yr old daughter suggested the name clementine, and we love it.. I was thinking maybe a shorter middle name since the first is so long..
Virginia, Lynnette, Noel, Diana, Georgette, Sloan, Elizabeth, Victoria
I love the name Clementine! So pretty. I also love old fashion names.. what about using an old family name? That's what I always do for middle names. Hope you find it soon :)
