pinched nerve?

When I walk too much I get bad lower back pain. Lately its gotten worse I don't even do anything and I get a jolt of pain on my tail bone like if I just pinched a nerve and I can't walk. I told my dr he said its normal and didn't say anything else. The pain is really bad right now and i can't move i want to go to the hospital but was told if I go there not much they can do since im pregnant. Any one else have this pain too? How do you Deal With it?

You can try a heating pad, ice pack and even a warm bath...there unfortunately isn't much to be done its one of those things that is only truly relieved by birth. You can try a chiropractor,  the massage chair when i got a pedicure helped me for a bit...

Did you slow down on your activities? I feel like I dont over work myself so im not sure what's causing it. Im a little worried on taking any pain medication but ill try baby Tylenol would that work? This pain is ridiculous, I wish my dr was more helpful! I thought it was just my dr.

it sounds to me like your sciatic nerve...when I had problems with it before pregnancy. I just stay where I am and have my husband massage it. if I'm alone though, I just have to wait until it passes. sorry, I hope that helps

I have the same thing but it's my hip/thigh on my left side. It's so painful. My doc said the same thing. But I did go to the hospital.  They didn't do anything!  I just cried the entire time! It was ridiculous.  I feel your pain. Tylenol helps a little. And a warm bath.
