Hi I don't want to scare you but in 2013 I give birth to a stillborn at 34wks,I had placenta accreta,my placenta died and my baby died,so you make them give you an ultrasound every time you go to the doctor!

How far along are you? I understand why you are worried from what I've read about it. I imagine that if your Dr knows about it earlier on they can take the proper precautions at labor such as having the equipment ready to do a blood transfusion, and taking greater care in removing the placenta. I'm also at risk for hemorrhage at birth because I'm having multiples, so my Dr has made sure I'm not anemic and I'm on extra iron supplements. He also said that they would be prepared for a transfusion if I lost too much blood. Also, I just found out today that I'll probably have to deliver at 34 weeks, so I understand why you're worried about that. My sister had her baby girl at 34+5 and she was able to take her home 3 days later. I don't know how common that is, but at least there's a good experience to hear about. Talk to your Dr about your concerns, they will be able to tell you how they will handle the situations that may arise at birth.
