please click if you have had a UTI

OK ladies so I went to the doc on Thursday and told her I've been having a slightly yellow discharge she said to monitor it but didn't test my urine. Anyways I've been having lower back aches and that's it. I took a UTI at home test and one of the pads of two on the stick said positive. I plan on calling first thing when they open to see if my doctor will either call me in meds or have me come in first this. I'm now worried because idk how long I've had this because I've had no symptoms and I'm scared the baby is hurt. I'm 15 weeks and I cantngo to sleep until I talk to the doctors tmrw I keep googling everything.

I am 12w+4 and started my antibiotics for uti yesterday. Baby will be fine... it would be more unsafe for the baby if it progresses into a worse infection. Hope you feel better soon!

Funny thing is I (with both my boys, second due today) didn't pos urine test for pregnancy till I was in my 4th month. But the hospital kept saying I had recurring UTI's and refused to blood test for pregnancy, then told me it was an STI that neither of us would have had the chance to contract. I would go to the ER or urgent care and get tested for the UTI

I am 13 weeks pregnant and my only symptom was lower back pain. Did a urine test and was positive so have started antibiotics. Dont be too worried. It is common in pregnancy and easily treated. You and baby will be fine x

dont be alarmed, uti's are common in pregnancy, if it goes untreated then you have a problem, but don't worry, just call and set an appointment in the morning

I'm 25 weeks pregnant and was giving antibiotics for a uti at 23 weeks. I had no other symptoms than progressing contractions. they stopped the contractions monitored baby for a couple hours then sent me home saying no sex and drink a gallon of water a day. google leukorrhea. I've had yellow/white discharge my entire pregnancy. very common. again I didn't have any symptoms for the uti other than the contractions. and that still could have been from being dehydrated. it shouldn't harm baby. that bacteria is in your bladder not uterus. hope this helps.

Im sure your baby is fine. I think the main concern would be the UTI turning into a bad kidney infection. Just make sure you get meds tomorrow to treat it, if you have one. Drinking natural cranberry(no sugar) juice is good with tons of water. Take care
