Induction ??

Hi I am seeing midwife tomorrow I will be 40 + 5 weeks what will happen will I be booked on to get induced ??

Ahh well I suppose that kinda makes sense! Had a few little twinges tonight so on my birthing ball trying to get things going xx

I'd heard that too. My Dr put it like this: its not any more painful it's just that your body goes from nothing to full blown contractions instead of your body slowly building to full contractions. The pain is the same you just don't slowly build up to the intensity

Thankyou! Yes I've heard it can be twice as painful but at this point I don't care I just want my little girl here xxx

Possibly. Most drs won't let you go past 41 and most midwives say 42.being  Induced really isn't that awful...I had a great experience!
