Im getting down to the wire and need to pack my hospital bag just in case. I have my daughters bag packed already but would also like second opinions. What all should I pack for myself and my daughter because I know the hospital provides alot of basic necessities?? Thanks!

We are having a c section so he will be in the room with me. I won't forget snacks because I know he will get hungry. His mom will be there after so I'm sure he will ask her to get them lol.

Don't forget snacks for hubby while you're in labor and also for the middle of the night.  I've got trail mix and granola bars.  Will grab whatever fruit I can before leaving home.

This is my fourth baby so in my bag i have several sets of pajamas socks underwear travel toiletrie kit (shampoo conditioner body wash tooth paste) travel kit for hubby underwear lounge pants t-shirts for him. Oh and pads! I hate the hospital pads lol.

I was just going to wear jammies home but someone else mentioned a comfy sun dress and that sounds really nice so I may pack one of those too lol.

@Raeleighs_Mommy, you are on it with your hospital bag!! :) Thank you ladies for the input and advice. I'm 26+2 and know I still have time to pack our bags, but I would like to make a list so I won't forget anything when it's time for me to get it together. Good luck and best wishes ladies!

I may have to rethink her bag because I packed a few outfits bahaha. We are having a c section so we have to stay for at least 48 hrs to be monitored. It is a good idea to pack her bag light because I plan on bringing home everything I can. Lol. I always seem to pack my husbands bag at last night because he wears his comfortable clothes alot and gets upset when he can't find them, men! I know with my first pregnancy I packed more than I should have. Trying to get a rough idea of what to bring so I can be a little prepared. Thanks for the input!! Extremely helpful:)

Dr told me the hospital will provide diapers, formula bottles (im not breastfeeding), wipes,.... he said only bring babys going home outfit so Im taking diaper bag for my princess' s bag But just putting her a couple cute onsies, cute nighties, couple beanies and socks, and going home outfit (im only taking the extra clothes because I know she will be in tonssss of pictures in hospital! And I figure I can put all the extra goodies the hospital gives you in the diaper bag since it will only have some clothes in it! :)

Then I have one bag where I have jammies, my loose sundress to wear home, three pairs of black dollar store panties, pads (for down there and for boobs) sport bra, warm socks, house shoes, and a hoodie. Then I have for hubby socks, boxers, shorts, tshirt, sweat pants. Also phone chargers, camera w/charger, and video camera w/charger.

Then I have one smaller bag that has all my bathroom stuff, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouth wash, qtips, a razor (I like to shave armpits daily lol) hairdryer, straightner, and make up.

Then I told hubby to grab the ps3 when we leave cus hospital has wifi so in case we are waiting a while we will have netflix LOL it seems like a LOT when I type it all but it seriously all consists of one very small suitcase, a diaper bag, and one bag a little smaller than diaper bag with the bathroom stuff.. I just hate hospitals so I want our stay to be as homey and comfortable as possible!!

Shoes that slip on (not lace up) are invaluable...a travel size "refresher" toiletry kit of your own make up/shower stuff...and I saw an idea a while back on the forum I'm gonna do - a husband bag! They stay there as long as you do, he'd probably like to freshen up too :)

Any opinion are fine. I would rather hear what others are bringing so I don't forget something

Very true! My husband was trying to be helpful and ask me what ill need if I go into labor early and I kinda told him to not worry about my stuff because he doesn't know where I put everything:0 think I hurt his feelings:/ planning on getting my bag ready so he can just grab it

Your own jammies. The more you have of your own the more at home you feel. =)
