praying for contractions

I was just thinking today while praying for some legitimate, consistent contractions, how funny it is that we all moan, groan & complain throughout our pregnancies at one time or another but when the end is near we pray & beg for the pain telling us we're almost there! Lol I thought it was kind of funny. 41 weeks 1 day today & eagerly awaiting the pain! ;-)

I am sorry you ladies have to fight pre term labor. I am sure that is scary & no fun at all. :-( I have to fight to get my babies out. I joke & say my placentas must be made of steel. All my babies have been late & doc always has to break my water while in labor and only diliate to a 1 before full blown labor happens. Good luck to all of you!! :-)

I'm with you girl!!! My due date is tomorrow and had 4 labor patterns stall so far. I'm just over it all. The last stall was last night, but they didn't totally go away so I've been in pain all day and they are consistant for about an hour, then they're not....but not really progressing. AND to top it of, I'm as nauseous as I was at my worst during 1st trimester.....I talked today to someone and said that I'll believe labor is real when I see it....

I know. Lol I have had preterm labor with 2 of my previous babies. And now I am stuck on bed rest with contractions. But I know come about 38 weeks, I'll be doing everything I can to bring them on. Lol

Yah i know what u mean except im the opposite. Ive been having contractions since.21 weeks and been praying they stop and dont get cobsistent when i have them. I spend my pregnancies praying for labour to not happen! Coming up to 31 weeks and with my luck ill b over due this time!

Grandma always says, well if it feels wonderful the whole time you're pregnant, no one would ever want to push the baby out so badly! Im still growing (22 wks) and very anxious to see her already. But I'll pray you get to suffer soon too! Lol
