I'm a member of WIC in Iowa and omg. I had no idea that they helped with so much! I get breast feeding classes, a support person I can call/text any time day or night. I get a dental checkup, prenatal education, a case manager, and dietitian. Plus the food assistace. I also signed up for a program to get help with baby supplies....seriously, this is amazing.
Just a tip. Wic isn't any good with giving accurate Breast feeding advice. If you want actual helpful advice then contact a lactation consultant. They actually know what they are taking about unlike wic. Just being honest!
Some can refer you to where you can get a crib and car seat too.
Ask them about baby clothing also. Some offices offer that :-)
