hiccups

I am 35weeks pregnant and baby has hiccups everyother day.. anyone else experience that? What causes them to hiccup... ?

Yess thank you ladies. Usually it happens in the mornings. It definitely wakes me up..lol.. ohh how beautiful the things that happen while pregnant..only we can understand.

My first hiccuped ALL the time, even after being born. My second almost never did. It feels like rhythmic thumping. It would wake me up with my first, even though kicking wouldn't.

I still cant tell what hiccups feel like. Sometimes I get super fast spuratic twitches ..sometimes i get a pulse like feeling..

My baby gets them everyday.  Mainly when I'm trying to sleep at night lol

My baby's been having them often as well. They say that the baby is starting to suck in amniotic fluid and that causes hiccups.

It's just a muscle spasm. They aren't sure why it happens but it doesn't hurt baby any and actually strengthens the muscle

I read it was them practicing  breathing.  Feels funny doesn't it.

Yes hiccups with bubba is normal. I dont think they have any idea why it happens tho. :)
