Its very normal to lose weight during the first trimester. I'm sure it was rough to deal with the nausea or food aversiobs but ur kind of ahead of the game ; ) in the weight gain department! LOL! Now just eat super healthy and nutritous and give tht baby all tht they need.

Is it just me or was that a rude comment? Your already ahead of the game in the weight gain department! How do you know know that? She could be tall and slim and weigh that or be extremely fit and pure mussel.

It is very normal to lose weight in the start. I wouldn't worry to much about weight gain unless you are gaining extreme amounts all at once. If baby is healthy that's all that matters. Your Dr will let you know if it's an issue  or not. Goodluck

I am a ftm as well.  I also lost weight my first trimester (8lbs) to be exact. I too didn't know if it was normal I was actually worried because I wasn't seeing any weight gain.  Until I hit about 23 24 weeks I had barely gained the eight lbs I had lost at the beginning.  Now I am 27 weeks and gain D another seven lbs.  Now I'm worried I'm packing on weight to quickly lol
