pap smears

Alright so i am 19 and just had my 3rd papsmear while 24 weeks pregnant. Every time i get one im in so much pain its rediulous i tried to tell my doctor last night when i got one for bleeding that i didnt have good experiences at all and that they hurt so bad i cry in pain. This happens every time and im on baby number to. I dont know what to do i feel so violated in the doctors office and am thinking of skipping my pap smear for after baby number2 is born. Im scared and need some advice

I'm confused as well... Why are you getting so many paps??? If you do get one while you're pregnant it should only be that one... And you don't always have to have a pap when you find out you're pregnant as long as you have had one within that year or unless you think you need to be tested... This is my 5th child so I'm telling you this from experience... If you feel like theirs something you don't like it is always ok for you to change your physician no matter how far along you are...

Ive never had a Papsmear during my pregnancy and im 29 weeks...

I must ask the same question, why so many? I have never had more than 1 pap per year. Of course they need to do one when you learn you're pregnant, but that should be all. Are you at high risk for something that's causing them to do so many?

Why are they doing so many paps in you? I only had one when I first gotten pregnant. I'm 32 weeks now and haven't had one since. Not  to be in ur business but are they checking for something.
