I am debatin about having the blood test to see if there are any defects ...have anyone chose not to have it?

I did have them done. Just to be prepared.

Thank you for your responses i am very scared to have it done bcuz this girl at work test came back positive for trisonomy 18

I passed on having them with all three of my pregnancies for the same reasons as Libby.

I am not having any of the tests done our thought is we wouldn't do anything about it anyway if there was something really wrong they would be able to see something on an ultrasound. But everyone is different it is your choice.

I had all the blood tests i could... Not sure what i would do if it would come back positive...but at least it would give you time to prepare.
