prenatal gummies

Anyone chose to not take the prenatal vitamins?  My prescription ones killed my stomach and now no bought the gummies and they seem to be messing with me also. I know they contain vital nutrients but if I do not take prenatals during this pregnancy will my baby be ok? Im 17weeks tomorrow.

I live in Canada where they don't sell gummy prenatals. I could never stomache (or even swallow) the horse pill size prenatal pills though. I just took a regular adult multivitamin with my first pregnancy and extra folic acid. With my last I happened to be in Nashville early in pregnancy and saw the gummy prenatals in target. I didn't even know they had such a thing! They worked great for me and this time around I got my mom to bring me some after she got back from one of her trips to the states. I really wish they were available in Canada but at least they are out there if need be!

Im buying gummys today. Because my other pills hv me sick ..I need vitamins I get weak very easy

I take Flintstone vitamin also.. My stomach couldn't handle the one prescribed my my dr

To be honest, i rarely take my prenatals or any other vitamins. My stomach churns anytime I have to take a pill. Only on days im feeling extra bright and not sick, I will either take my prenatal (vitafol one) or two flinstones chewables. I feel as long as you're eating pretty healthy, you will be fine without vitamins even though it is scorned upon. I dont drink soda and limit my sweets, 90% of my food is home cooked.

With my first 2 kids I couldn't handle them however I took children's Flintstones. They did the job and never made me sick. I also learned if I eat a very small snack and take the pill with water right before bed I dont get sick.

Oh ok. My next apt isn't until may 7th and they take forever to call back. So I guess I.ll hold out until then and see what they say.

I took mine until I was at least 23-24 weeks with my first, I'm sticking to Flintstone vitamins with this one because all of the other ones make me sick, except the gummies but my Dr said the gummies lack some vitamins you need.

I haven't taken prenatal with all three of my pregnancys after about a month and a half because of horrible stomach sickness. But it was actually my Dr who told me not to because they weren't helping because I would throw them up right away. My two kids were fine and this one seems to be growing fine. But you should talk to your Dr about it though. From what I know the baby takes what it needs from you so the vitamins are more for your help and body. But always talk to your Dr before stopping or starting anything
