prenatal massage

So my husband's insurance covers prenatal massage and I have my first appt today!  So excited considering I'm 13+3  but look like I'm 5 months

I had really bad sciatica with my son and after he was born In started getting tendinitis in my right shoulder.  So now both are killing me  I'm hoping this helps!

Does anyone do prenatal massage? Does it help?

I'm a massage therapist and I truly believe in prenatal massage. I have massaged many pregnant women and they can't believe the difference. Just make sure you drink plenty of water after. When you get a message it moves toxins through your body and you want to flush them out. Don't worry the toxins don't hurt the baby. Have fun and enjoy!!!!

How lucky! I wish my insurance covered prenatal massage but I am actually getting my first one next week. I'll be 31 weeks by then. I has having killer right-mid back pain (so weird on one side and one area only) and now that I have it schedule it has calmed down a lot!! But I still need pampering ;-)

That was the best gift I received at my first baby shower. An hour long massage and an hour long pedicure (which was like having extra long on my feet) at a spa. I wish my insurance covered massage.

So I'm back from my appointment and it was incredible! My back and hips feel so much better and the tendinitis  is still there but stretched out

I'm  Canadian and my husband has additional private insurance through his work that covers 12 prenatal massages
