I was taking prenatals but they made me feel sick so I bough a bottle of the Flintstones vitamins. Has anyone else done this amd if so do you take one or two a day?

I have had prenatal pill problems too and I take one flinstones vitamin and one frolic acid pill. If I feel really terrible I will just take prenatal gummys.

I had the same issue. But I went to a health food store and got an organic prenatal bottle and a dha bottle. No extras when I compared to my Walmart or target ones. And they help so much. I haven't even needed the nausea meds since then either.

Prenatals make me ill so I've only taken folic acid this pregnancy as advised by my dr. They are all very high in vitamin b and if you alreafy have a lot of vitamin b in your diet your body has to get rid ofnit somehow. However, if you want to take them I've heard the gummy ones are less likely to make you ill.

I know there is at least one mommy on here who takes the Flintstones ones. She had suggested it to me when my prescription ones were making me sick but I ended up getting switched to an OTC one and it was better, otherwise I would be taking the Flintstones too. I want to say she said take 2...I'll go back in my posts and see if I can find it...or at least who posted it.

I personally don't take any prenatals and haven't my whole pregnancy (now 20weeks with a healthy happy baby girl) but I have heard a lot of people take them as an alternative to regular prenatals. Not sure on the dosage. Probably 2. :)
