Thanks Everyone! We All Try To Be Good To Each Other. Being 3 Women In A Poly Relationship Our Communication Is Prett Good But This Is Uncharted Territory For Us all
I went thru this a few weeks ago. Honestly what helped me was talking to other mom's who have been thru it and also getting out of the house and doing something out of the ordinary. Pampering her could do a ton! Even if it's only a pedicure or massage it always makes someone feel better. Take her or to sooner if possible. A lot of women get nauseous during the first trimester and that doesn't help anything! It will eventually go away once her hormones balance themselves out a little bit. Just pamper her s much as possible and get her out of the house to go to the park or anything out of the ordinary :) hang in there. Sounds like your are being a great husband tho and trying what you can
There is a condition that can be diagnosed as depression during pregnancy. There is an actual name but I can't remember. I'm guessing she isn't too far along which may be part of it, because it took so much for you all to get pregnant she may be scared now to miscarry. If its bad you need to talk to her doctor because it can cause severe post partum depression once baby arrives. Otherwise her fears may ease up greatly once she gets past 13 weeks and starts feeling the baby move.
I suffer from depression during my pregnancy atm and im 13weeks, i think that i wont able to bond with baby etc but today i got up early and dressed amd went shopping and came across a lovely pram and it was in the sale nd a cimplete bargin. It defo picked my mood up nd made me happy. Take her out nd take her mind of things, she will soon bond with the baby when it comes along!
Once a person reaches to a certain level of stress or low mood.. its no longer possible to control anxiety level no matter what you tell the person. Telling her that stress is going to effect the child is really a very bad idea. It may make things far worse. Try to occupy her mind. Take her out. Keeping busy is main thing. Tell her to meet other mums
We Go The Zophram, And While It's Helping Keep Food Down She Still Feels Nauseous All The Time.
Eventually We'd Love A Dog But All Agree We Travel To Much Right Now. And We Need To Refence The Yard First.
I'll Keep Reassuring Her Tho And Encourage Her Not To Over Stress.
We went through IVF as well. We became pregnant with twins . To help with the nausea ask the doctor for zofran. I was given that, and let me tell you it works wonders and it is safe for the baby (s). When it comes to depression what has been helping me is my dog. We got him 2 months before we started IVF because I was so depressed bc nothing was working. I was having horrible mood swings and didn't wanna do anything. So then my husband and I agreed to get one. Adopting a dog was one of the best decisions we have made. I haven't been depressed or mood swings and now enjoying the pregnancy. I am so glad we added Riley to our family couldn't picture life without my furry friend. Sometimes all someone needs is a dog. Hope this helps. Good luck to you guys!
Explain to her how how stress causes your body to produce toxins which can be transferred to the baby. You all struggled to get to this point and once you see the baby growing the connection will be automatic.
