Are you finding out the sex?

Hi ladies. I have my 20week scan on Monday, which I'm so excited about. Up until about two weeks ago, my partner & I were sure we wanted to find out the sex. Afterall, it just seems like the next step in pregnancy or the next thing to look forward too. But recently, I've been having doubts about it. I like the thought of my partner being able to ring everyone after the birth & for it to be a surprise for all of us. I've told some family members including my 6 year old son, that we may not be finding out now & no-one is very happy about it! I'm just so stuck! Would you listen to others or do what you want? Has anyone decided to change their mind at the last minute? X

I had wanted a girl for the last pregnancy I had.
I ended up having a miscarriage at 16wks and had a little boy.
I was crushed. I kept saying to myself I want a boy for my next one, obviously. But when that happens, I really don't think I'm going to find out. Because any gender will for sure be a blessing.

You will only get this experience with this baby once. You have to put you and your partners needs and wants first. We have decided that we are going to let it be a surprise. I have some family members that are having a hard time with that. They will get over it:)

Do what you want... My cousin and her husband kept the sex to themselves, then baked a cake that said he was a boy then kept the name until a picture was released... It was tense for everyone but I thought that it was kinda fun.
