I am taking progesterone, but not the lozenges. Had 2 previous mc, both times my progesterone was almost non existant. Dr said I will be on it until 12-13 weeks pregnant, and then they will see if my body will maintain its own supply. If not I will be back on it.

I had two pregnancies with pre term and was on bed rest and brethine for both of them. They recommended the shots for my next one and it did work for me. I am on it now and am at 28 weeks with no problems.  You do have to start the shots around 16 weeks for them to be effective.

I had to do the same. I took one pill in the morning and another one at night. They made me so sick though... My doctor took me off of them at 8 Weeks but most doctors keep you on them until the 12th week.

I have to have progesterone shots every week from 16-36 weeks to help prevent pre term.  Never used lozenges though.
