The CVS machines are usually accurate. I was told that if I got a headache that Tylenol wouldn't get rid of, go in to l&d to get checked out.
Are the bp machines in cvs accurate? I jusg did it and its 159/88 but dont know if i should be going in...ive had a bad headache all day minimal swelling though and ive been nauseas..im 34 w my dr took me out of work for a few days and i have a apt mon...my headaches nothing i cant deal with but idk if that reading was accurate...ugh its frustrating
I have high bp as well with no protein. They said it's a beginning sign of preeclampsia but not there yet. I'm having weekly non stress tests to monitor the baby. Doc is having me monitor my bp at home (which he says they don't normally do but let's me since I'm in health care).
Technically the diagnostic criteria for preeclampsia is Both proteinuria And hypertension.
Hmm that is a great question! I wonder the same...
