I didn't pack enough clothes for myself. The after labor recovery your body goes through, for me, was almost worse than labor. Almost. So make sure you bring lots of comfy yoga pants or leggings. I thought I would want "loose" fitting pj pants but when needing to wear an ice diaper for the pain, I felt way more comfortable with the leggings holding tight around my bottom. *chapstick *shower stuff (I couldn't get enough showers) *breastfeeding bras (if you plan to) *your own pillow *your own blanket
For Baby: I overpacked baby stuff. It was such a hassle to change her because she was so tiny and I didn't want to hurt her so I ended up just using gowns more. I would pack one cute outfit for the ride home and just easy to change things for while you're there. People will gush over baby no matter what he/she is wearing. *boppy pillow was a must for me
Hope this helps a bit. I'm due with #2 in June and baby #1 turns one next month!
A pair of clothing for you as well for the baby to come home..charger you will defenately need it. Nipple pain cream I needed one and forgot to put it in if u are planning on breastfeeding. Socks, Babys hat, blankets for the baby, tooth brush and paste very important they don't provided any, I can't think of anything else but they provide u with pads,Babys formula, diapers, wipes. Many ftm think like when I was with my first bcuz my baby girl that I just had 5 weeks ago is my second well the thing is that many new moms think they got it bring a lot of things and there is no need but try to do most important things for u and the baby ..goodluck
