@Mrs_farris read my post carefully, i wasnt bashing americans im bashing american food companies. I am american. And unfortunately there are still more people eating toxic food rather than eating clean food. Myvpoin
I'm training to be an LC, and it is a myth. Beer does not increase your milk supply. It does however make your baby sleepy. I would never recommend that a nursing mother drink to increase supply. I also would never drink while pregnant because I feel it's not worth the risk. Why not try non-alcoholic beer to satisfy your craving? And for the wonderful person bashing Americans, not everyone falls into your stereotypical view. You must not know very many, because there is a large population of people who stay away from GMO's, artificial products, and eat organic.
As the other lady said some other countries have different rules. If you feel like its ok than why come and ask on here? Its your baby you should follow your motherly instinct. But I dont think you think its ok. I think you know its wrong you are just looking for approvals from other women to say yeah its ok go ahead drink. So my thing is if you really think its ok why come here and ask other women? I had a problem quiting smoking. Most women I know from my country kept smoking through pregnancy. I knew it was wrong smoking, I felt guilty and after few failures I finally quit.
There is alot of mommys in the world that are doing alot worst than just having one beer and no need to judge anyone. Just asking opinions. Does not make me a bad mom for having one beer.
Thanks mommys for all your OPINIONS!!! My baby and I are fine. Hope you have a great pregnancy!
Oh and it's not a myth about beer and milk supply. And LC will tell you that. It's dark beer that is good for increasing milk supply.
