I have RLS extreamly bad every single night. Just like poster above^ its only in my right leg. I've read it can be caused by low iron and ironically I was just found to be anemic 2 days ago. Not fun =/

Take 500mg of magnesium before bed. (it's best if you can take it a little before your actually trying to go to sleep) It can be found in the vitamin section and is totally natural and safe to take (in fact, most ppl are very deficient in magnesium). It saved my life. RLS was driving me insane!

I have experienced this for the first time this pregnancy. At first I had no idea what was wrong with me. I tried to explain the feeling to my fiancé. But it's not really an itch or a pain. It's so frustrating! Right now I only seem to get it in my right leg. I'm hoping it doesn't get worse as my pregnancy progresses. Good to know about the iron.

I had it with all my pregnancies but seems to be getting wise with each one and as the weeks go by. And not to scare you but mine didn't go away right away after delivery :(  it eventually went away but from time to time I'd still get it not pregnant.  Mine starts exactly same time every night and makes it nearly impossible to sleep. I try to occupy myself with internet tv or something but it doesn't really help. GL!

I had RLS horribly bad my first pregnancy.  This pregnancy i started to notice it around 20 weeks. I was diagnosed as anemic after my glucose test and was advised to take iron pills. After I started taking them, RLS went away!! I forgot my iron pill yesterday and my legs had that tingly feel again this evening  so I truly believe in my case anyway, it is caused from lack of iron. I would check with your dr though before taking iron pills.

I've heard a heating pad and walking help. I'm not sure if that is true or not but I couldn't hurt to try. Hope you both feel better!
