With both my kids and hopefully this one too...I worked all the way up to delivery. I work in an office behind a desk everyday, So other than my brain, I'm not really doing hard work. I prefer to spend my 12wks with the baby...besides if I go out early, I'll probably spend more energy nesting than I do making money.

I plan on working until I have my baby.  And I already have a plan in place if my water breaks or if I have contractions while at work..  I can't afford to take leave sooner cuz I want to take advantage of my full 12wks leave with baby since I'll be breastfeeding.

In the U.S. you should get 4 weeks before and 6 weeks after. I have a week of vacation im going to take after so i have at least 7 weeks but i know im not going to want to work after! Im going to want my man to work and i want to stay home and take care of the kids and do online classes im hoping it works but we'll see!

My plan was to work until I delivered but I'm in constant pain working 2 jobs and working on my masters degree. Plus according to the doctor, the baby is growing fast. Its definitely getting too hard. So I was thinking I would have my doctor put me out 2 weeks before my due date plus use my  2 weeks vacation time, which would put me out of work around the December 22.

I'm 38 weeks and still working. I don't get paid maternity leave uggh wish I did but I don't. So sitting at home isn't gonna pay my bills. So I guess I'm working until she makes her debut.

Most people where I'm at take it around about 36wks but we get 12mths unpaid leave here plus 18wks paid from the government and after 36wks some employers ask for a drs certificate to say your fit for work if you want to keep working.

I took mine at 39 weeks. I didn't have my baby until 41 weeks but I wanted time to relax and get things ready before baby came. Plus I was just way over dealing with dumb people ;)
