when to pack

I'm 28 weeks pregnant. When should I start packing my hospital bag? Do I pack two (one for my car and one for my husbands)? What are things people don't normally think to bring?

When I was pregnant with my other daughter  I started getting everything ready. It was July 1St and for some reason I was very anxious. I wasn't due till July 15. On July 3rd I thought I was having Braxton Hicks cause I was able to tolerate it. I was still having them.through out the night and the next day I went in  to l&d    just to doubly check and I kept saying I don't know why I came they just going to tell me IM fine. Nurse checked me I was 4 centimeters!!!!!! Sorry so long. All IM saying is if I start getting anxious and folding baby clothes its that time lol you never known

Whenever you feel ready to pack it just do it. I keep meaning to but will wait till I'm on mat leave. I plan on packing 1 full of things for the birth (electric oil burner, music, snacks...etc.) And one with going home clothes for me and baby (and maybe some toiletries incase I have to stay overnight, although I hope to go home within 6 hrs of delivery)

I have my baby's all packed and I just got travel sized toiletries for mine but haven't finished packing yet, I'm due early July

Im 32+1 and havent packed mine ill provably do it at 34 weeks or when i buy a bigenough bag lol

I was so unorganised with my second especially due to the fact I'd just moved into a new house and the very next evening I went into early labour. I was packing my bag when I was in labour. I wont be doing that again. Theres lots of lists you can get from the Internet. I'd say around 37wks but theres no harm in popping a few things in when your ready. Just keep adding to it x

Im just over 35 weeks and havent packed mine yet! Im gonna do it just before 37 weeks :)

I am almost 29 weeks and was thinking of doing it when I am 32 weeks. Anything can happen from now on. I like to be prepared. I am packing the diaper bag with clothes for the new baby. Stuff for my husband and my self. I as well will be googling what to bring. Even though I've done this I was always rushed because I was told to go straight to hospital from doctor the first time and second time I was put in hospital without knowing and my husband brought me stuff. Lol don't want that to happen again. Even though I love him he doesn't know where all my stuff was. He tried his best and I appreciated it but he didn't grab it all. I say a few more weeks !!

I would just pack one and put it somewhere you can grab it before u go.honestly most people are in labor for hours so u should be able to grab it quick. You can google lists of what to pack and get a list from the hospital of what they provide for you. Im 33 weeks i still havent packed mine but pack whenever you want! Never hurts to be prepared.
