ladies, the dreaded question:

No matter how much I wish it wouldn't,  the question of how much weight I've gained always seems to creep into conversations, from co-workers to my own dad. I was nervous at first that I would struggle with gaining weight (LOL!) But now the pounds just keep moving up on the scale. I started as 106lbs and have gained 35 lbs all in my first 2 trimesters.
How about you ladies? Anyone else in the 30s lbs +?
(My plan of attack: opt out of fast foods and desserts and eat more fruits and veggies AND walk more!)

Feeling a little concerned. I weighed 145 pre-pregnancy and lost 20 pounds in my first trimester. Around 25 weeks I'd made it back up to 137 finally. So I'm currently at -8 pounds overall. LO seems to be developing normally and is healthy and very active.
I'm not really distraught or anything since he's obviously doing just fine and my doctor isn't worried. With my first though I ended up gaining 30 pounds altogether, so now I'm just worried that I'm suddenly going to pack on a ton in my third trimester. I don't think my back could take it or my stomach. I have scoliosis and my stretch marks are already turning a blue/purple color.
I am 27 weeks as of today.

At least you only have 4 more weeks. You'll be back in shape before you know it!

It is crazy! I've never gained weight before. I started out at 114 and am in my third trimester due in march and have gained 23lbs. It's a weird feeling to be carrying it all but it's for a good reason :)

I gained 40 lbs with my first, and lost it quickly after she was born. I gained 60 lbs with my second and had only lost about thirty of that when I got pregnant this time. So far I have gained about 8 lbs but I am only 15 weeks, I really hope I don't gain too much this time!

I started out at 120lbs and when i went in to have my daughter Friday i weighed in at 186. So i gained a total of 66lbs through my entire pregnancy. I have almost lost over 3/4 of my weight gain so Im assuming it was mainly water weight.

Isn't it crazy how easy it is to gain weight when pregnant?!

I also started off small. 119 lbs at 5'8". Now I've gained 34 lbs so far at 37 weeks. I didn't gain much of that till my 3rd trimester. They say you gain the most in the end. But I'm not too worried cause with my first, I gained 70 lbs!! So I'm doing much better this time around! Lol And also, you will loose it pretty quick. I lost it all within a few months and actually ended up weighing less then before I got pregnant! Especially if you nurse your baby, the pounds will melt off quickly. Good luck and don't stress! Think of this as the only time you can get away with eating like we do as pregnant mommies to be, guilt free! ;)

I started off extremely tiny and under weight for my age. I went from 87 lbs. to my current weight of 130 at 31+5 wks. I gained most of it in my second trimester and it seems to stay there! So i'm at a drastic change with my pregnancy!
