scheduling maternity tour

Is 21wks too early to schedule a tour of the maternity ward? I'll be going to a different hospital with this baby than I did with my other three and hubby and I thought it would be a good idea to take a tour. They have an open tour on the 7th of dec but I'll only be 21wks. Is that too early? Should we wait another month or two?

No not really.  It's stupid but I've heard this hospital keeps a stocked soup/sandwich bar and juice/soda fountain 24hrs on the maternity ward so that's actually what I'm most curious about lol. Other than that I just want to know how to get around and not get lost. I have a booklet from them that answers pretty much every other question I have but if yours doesn't give you one of those I guess some questions you could ask is: how many people do they allow in the delivery room, what's their policy on having partners sleep over with you, is there any restrictions on other children in the labor room, what pain relief methods do they offer (for instance this hospital encourages the use of walking showers whirlpools rocking chairs and birthing balls when choosing against an epidural or iv drugs) ask about their room in policy (do they prefer you have the baby in the nursery while you sleep or do they allow you to keep the baby at all times.

There really is no specific time. My first I did it at 20 weeks. With my 2nd at 16 weeks and this one I'm 14 weeks and will probably be doing it soon :) I've seen women who look like they are about to pop ans women who have no belly at all.
