Seafood isn't bad for you while pregnant as long as you eat it in moderations. It's said that 12oz a week is a suffice amount but avoid fish high in mercury. Such amounts predatory fish. But salmon, pollock, shrimp, canned tuna etc are ok.

I've been eating it. I love shrimp. And we have a ton of it so we cook it once a week.

I live in Louisiana and some people think our lives revolve around seafood... probably because it does. I don't eat seafood often, maybe twice a week. My dr has never told me to not eat seafood, he only gave me a list of medicines to take and to avoid. I think that if he had concerns he'd tell you to stop.

All seafood is not bad to eat. You want to limit your tuna intake avoid swordfish, shark, and other seafood high in mercury. You can indulge a little in shell fish. Salmon, whiiting, tilapia are some fish that are ok to eat as well.
Talk to your doctor they normally will provide a list

Mostly predatory fish is what you want to avoid due to mercury levels. There is a list online on what to avoid. Just make sure the fish you do eat is cooked.
