I'm 9 weeks along... only hubs and i know, how long did everyone wait to announce the big news?

I told my friends and family the moment my husband and I found out and then social media later that same day. I was only 5 weeks 5 days but I just couldn't keep the excitement in. My husband and I plan to start trying again before our son turns 1 next October and I dont qant to tell anyone until we find out the gender that time.

I told my two close friends and family at 8 weeks then told everyone else at 12 weeks.

I waited til I was about 12-14wks. I've had miscarriages in the past. So I wanted to wait til after the 1st trimesr.

First pregnancy we announced it right away to everyone we could call before it got to late (positive test at like 6 at night) that ended in miscarriage,  but the support I had was great because my mom had been through 3 in her life. This pregnancy I posted a pic of the test on facebook and tagged everyone I could.

I told my parents at around 4 weeks and my kids around 7-8 weeks. Once the nausea and vomiting set in they knew something was up. I wanted to wait until I was further along to tell everyone on my hubby's side of the family but one of my kids beat me to it, lol. That was around 13 weeks.

My parents and sister and brother we told at 4wks. Friends and other family we told at 18wks.. His parents found out but we never told(messy situation).. It kinda turned into a fun game to not tell anyone the further I got along. We just wanted to be safe after having a miscarriage

I've had 2 miscarriages so we only told my husband parents and brothers and sisters. ..I'm almost 10 weeks...we r not telling anyone else until after 12 weeks

We told around 12 weeks!! Now im 21 weeks!

I couldn't wait to tell my family,  they found out when I was 5weeks,  but I didn't tell anyone else until I was 12weeks

We waited until I couldn't hide it anymore. Lol I started to show at 17 weeks so that's when we told everyone. We did however tell family at 12 weeks.the reason why we waited so long is bc we lost our baby girl last year at 20 weeks. So we waited until we knew it was safe. But I would say it's safe for you to tell everyone after the first trimester. :) it's up to yall.
