Try pepermint tea. It was the only thing that helped my sister in laws heart burn while pregnant. She was drinkong milk and eating yogurt like it was going out of style because she thought it would help but came to find out it only makes it worse. Good luck!!
Milk actually promotes heartburn it gets rid of it for a short time but will always come back as the fat content in milk will make the acids in your stomach angry.
I eat apples whenecer I get heartburn. Usually half is enough. Eat it slowly and chewing it like 1000 times :)
Try papaya enzyme tablets or other digestive bitters. The papaya tabs are chewable and taste kind of mildly sweet.
