severe mitral valve regurgitation

Hi!! Im 27 years old and have severe mitral valve regurgitation im on a lot of medications to keep my heart functioning. Im gonna be induced at 36 weeks in the icu just in case something goes wrong with my heart. has anyone else experienced this? Im scared and dont know what to expect. I cant find no one whos gone threw this.

I have mvp too. Im 13weks pregnant now. Donot hav 8 with my first baby and im little scared wat would happen with this 2nd pregnncy. Im praying for a safety pregnancy to all of us. Just pray..

Stay strong hun and pray. That's what i do. I got mine when i was 9yrs old. Im 29 now and im 11weeks pregnant. I have medds im posed to tk but im scared it might hurt the baby so i havent taken them. I mk sure i tk my 81mg baby asprin though because you can't not get a blood clot in that artificial valve.

Yes im on multiple medications inclunding asprin, lovenox shots and metroplol and a few others. Im 29 weeks pregnant and its very difficult and im very scared as i get closer. I appreciate your words, i pray all goes well with you as well.

Is that an Artificial valve? I have that.

I haven't had surgery yet I'm set to have surgery 12 weeks after shes born. But yes i will be getting a artificial vavle
