sex after vaginal delivery

Good morning ladies this might be a stupid questions but this is my first baby and I'm just curious does your vagina go back to normal after delivery? Is it as tight as it was before child birth?

It loosens a bit. Just the way thing go but if you practice kegals, you should be fine. Work it out like you would your tummy after baby.

I have 2 boys and 28wks with my 3rd son and i always waited 6-8wks before sex or even longer and i do the workouts because i do think that not all vaginas go back to normal because when your a virgin your vigina stretchs to the size and it gets use to it and when you have a baby thats the same thing but if you work your vigina muscles you keep everything tight just like workouting so work your muscles and give your vigina time to heal and you will be fine

I'm really worried about that too I'm pregnant with my first. You always see on TV shows and movies women talking about their vagina being loose after having a baby. I know its only TV but it does kinda make you think its true. I wish they wouldn't say stuff like that it scares women. Most women I've talked to say they went back to normal my sister and cousin and friends. So hopefully i will too. They keep reminding me our bodies are built to do this.

If you make sure you do your pelvic floor excercises religiously after you have your baby it will,i have 3 kids already and im all good in that department because i do pelvic floor excercises daily..plus if you dont do them it can lead to incontinence as well so its important even for that reason to keep at them

Yes, it does. Kegal exercises work to make it tighten faster...  Basically, you squeeze your vaginal muscles really tight and release.  You can do a few sets twice a day for the first week following birth.
