Ok IT IS DANGEROUS TO HAVE SEX BEFORE CLEARED . as in you could DIE.please wait till you are cleared by your midwife or doctor. You can feel fine but your cervix and uterus need to heal. I am a midwife and I have had FOOLISH young girls come in who didn't listen. They had infections one a had perforated uterus. You can end up dead or unable to have more babies. Your doctor or midwife will check you. Sometime between 4 and 8 weeks for normal birth and normal c section you will be cleared. You can wait and so can your partner.

I was 5 weeks with my first.  But it was very painful and I still had a ton of stitches that hadn't healed properly yet.

6 weeks MINIMUM. Just bc you feel ok doesn't mean you are. Your body needs time to heal properly.  Also, sex too soon could cause you infection.

I start having sex as soon as I get home. 3 Days for hospital delivery and same day after I delivered at a birthing center. It is mostly about what is comfortable and what your partner and you decide.

I did just a few weeks after. Maybe about 3-4 weeks. but I had csections both times so I dont know how long after vaginal births..honestly its whenever you feel comfortable enough to do so again
