shaving before birth?

I haven't been able to shave or trim my private area for months now and it really *****. I never did it all the time anyway maybe. Once every few weeks Bc I'm sensitive down there.

Some for those of you who plan on having a vaginal birth or did,  were you just super natural down there or you managed somehow to trim up???

I ask bc I do plan on recording video and I'm not sure if I would like the camera up close on my super hairy goods? Lol

I'm 29 weeks and I can do my legs but down there is nearly impossible. I've been trying to keep it up for any surprises such as last week when my doc wanted to do an internal ultrasound out of nowhere. Hubby did try to help last time but he did a terrible job lol. A for effort and sweetness but probably wont be happening again. I will try a mirror for the time being.

Think of the 70's when women didn't ever shave at all.... my doc got his degree in the 70's so I truly believe he's seen in all. The docs don't care about anything other than the health of you and your baby during labor.

I can no longer see down there either lol. I asked my sister who has had two children already. She told me she just kept up but im also sensitive down there. So when I do I just use the feeling technich lol!  Pretty much shave and feel if I missed any but im 32 weeks. And staring not to bother with it anymore. My doctor reasured me just to feel comfortable.  As long as I have good hygiene im not worried!

I'm on esthetician, so I wax dwn there. I actually 1st started waxing more regularly when I was pregnant with my 1st. Waxing is great especially if ur sensitive & they no what they are doing. I wax every 4 weeks & don't hve 2 thnk about it in between. With waxing it comes back so much thinner that even if u missed a waxing it would be very sparse.

I can't see down there but I still shave. Kinda by feel. Lol. I'm at 33 weeks and am starting not to care what it looks like but I can't really stand the hairy feeling. And my hospital doesn't even let us take pics while you're in active labor let alone video so I don't have to worry about that.

Haha I told my honey I'm worried about not being able to groom down there soon, and he volunteered to help! Haha, awkward!

I went in to labor way early with my son so I didn't have time to prep, so I had stubble. Ideally I would've shaved had I known I was in labor. Ha... I say keep it trimmed and that way you're prepared and not worried about it. Though that was the last thing on my mind in the midst of labor. Just remember doctors have probably seen much worse than you. (Ex. Women with poor hygiene)

I didn't bother when I had my other two.. And won't this time either. I'm not worried at all and I suppose it depends on who you intend to show your video to and what you're comfortable with. The midwives/doctors have seen it all so I wouldn't worry on their account ..
