38 + 1...I been having contractions for the last 1 3-5mins apart plus back pain...idk is this the real deal ??

Cervix is high & still closed, contractions remained 3-5mins apart but werent strong enough to dilate me, so the doctor sent me home. Idk what's going on why am I not dilating yet, ughhh I'm just so ready for my son to be born.
