wake up from nap extremely shaky and weak

I'm 22 weeks and laid down for a nap and woke up about 45 min later extremely shaky and feeling weak. It was a really weird scary feeling but only lasted about 15 min. It made it worse to open my eyes, when i had my eyes open it almost made the room spin. Any ideas? I ate before a feel alright and have been drinking lots of water. Tia

I think I was sleeping on my back when i woke up. I fall asleep on my side but don't always stay there. I haven't been checked yet for gestational diabetes. I will definitely bring it up to my dr or call if it happens again. I was anemic with my first pregnancy so bad I had to get iron infusions. I have been taking extra iron supplements since i found out I was pregnant, hoping I could skip it with this one. :/ thank you all

1. We're you sleepingl on your back? This can compress a vean but is not common.

2. Low Blood sugar? Have you been checked for gestational diabetes?

3. Anemia? This happened to me. I was feeling awful off and on for a while.  Braxton hicks, dizzy, light headed, uncomfortable, just all around crappy feeling.  The Dr kept telling me I wasn't drinking enough water.  So I finally made them do the gestational diabetes test early and they ran some other normal ones again. Results were that after being tested for it a few weeks earlier my iron level crashed and as soon as i started taking tons of iron berm A LOT better.

Check if your prenatal had iron.

Were you sleeping on your back? It's possible to cut off your blood supply from your inferior vena cava which is one of the main veins returning blood to your heart. This is why it's recommended too sleep on your side.
