sick and pregnant :(

I've come down with a nasty sinus infection/cold complete with joint aches and fever.

Any suggestions on remedies or relief?

My midwife also recommended Mucinex, but I am also in my 3rd trimester. I tried a netti pot and found some relief from congestion with that. Good luck. It's so miserable being sick while pregnant.

I'm almost 8 weeks.. This is just plain awful. Maybe I'll head to the minute clinic tomorrow.

My doctor said i can take musinex. The plain one...I'd check w them tho. Depends on # of weeks and how pregnancy has been so far.

If it is a sinus infection you need to go to the Dr and get an antibiotic. And I'm not sure about a cold. Hope y'all feel better.

I'm in the same boat as you.   I have no idea what to do/take.  I hope someone has a good solution.  Feel better soon.
