Thank you....for the detailed explanation...I guess I will hav to just wait till iam done nd go to a specialist...thank u once again
It's called hyperpigmentation, also known as melasma, or pregnancy mask. I never knew we how common it was until I started working at my job 2 years ago. We do a lot with this condition and it happens a lot during and after pregnancy. To my knowledge there isn't a lot you can do to actually correct it while you're pregnant because most creams or treatment are not safe for baby. But after pregnancy there are a lot of options for you!! I would consider contacting your local medispa or skin care specialist. While there are over the counter remedies... The amount of time they take combined with how many you would go through for the same effect... You're better off going Rx. Look into the Obagi Nu-Derm line. I'm currently... Wait... WAS on this line as of yesterday . lol. Just found out I'm pregnant Yay!! But it ddramatically reduced my melasma in about 6 weeks. Until you give birth, I would just ask one of the specialists to recommend a baby safe alternative to at least combat the itching.
I hope this helps!!
