Im pregnant with my 4th boy and iv been quit 18 months I smoked with my 1st & 3rd child n they were healthy I quit smoking with my 2nd straight away and he has asthma n had baby exsma (not sure how to spell it) so I don't think it affects the unborn child at all it does make the baby smaller though,  I unfortunately lost my mum 10 days b4 my son was born so regrettably started smoking again shortly after, this time i know il never start again im only 29 but can feel the damage to my lungs from smoking,  u can do it but make sure ur ready!  Good luck :)

I saw a baby at the wic who was born from a smoking mother and she looked like a premie! She was born at 81/2 months and wieghed only 4lbs sadly and had problems gaining weight also ..she was on her way to admit the baby back in the hospital it was sad ..please try to at least cut down on how many u smoke a day think of ur baby

Maybe you should switch to the nicotine gum and then slowly stop using the gum. That worked for me. I haven't smoked a cigarette in almost 4 years. It's about will power and determination. When I would crave a cigarette I would look at websites showing how horrible it is for your body. You should look at ones showing how horrible it is for your baby. You can quit!

Its will power and state of mind... I'm not being funny but if you've smoked this far you probably won't quit I've been smoking years too but I quit on my first pregnancy but smoked straight away as I was upset and someone said just one... this time I quit immediately it was hard but I thought bout consequences to my bby..
only way to quit is if you really want to

I work for a vape store. And was a smoker a fee years ago. And now pregnant,  and working at a vape shop I had to ask my doctor if it's still safe for me. She did not express any concern about vaping however I don't use nicotine in my e-juice. Talk to your doctor and see if he/she has any concerns and if that is a possibility look into it. A good support system is so true to have. If you need anything Don't hesitate to ask.  You'll definitely have some wonderful women to lean on.

Ask your doctor. I know the hospital I go to offers help in ways to stop without complications. You just need to be in it 100% to quit with a support chain behind you. That's the only way you will do it. I have never been a smoker, but I have had friends and relatives fight this battle and I have seen them struggle.  But they did it and I know you can. I'll be one of your cheerleaders rooting for you to beat they his battle.
