Of course its harmful to your baby...im a smoker myself and 8 weeks pregnant but i stopped smoking instanty when i found out i was pregnant and have done on all my pregnancies...smoking during pregnancy can cause low birth weight, early delivery and also is related to cot deaths...its not worth it

I was actually just reading the SIDS guidelines which now recommend you avoid smoking or exposing baby to cigarette smoke while pregnant and for the first year! I quit cold turkey 5yrs before starting my family but still thought that was interesting. Good luck for your quitting too!

You might as well just stop completely if it's just 1 every other week!!! What does that 1 cigarette every other week do for you? It will be for you and baby both to just stop! It's easier then you think. I never thought u would quit and I did. I'm sure you can too. Good luck

Any type of smoke can harm the baby. Oxygen threw the lungs is what puts oxygen in your blood stream. if you cloud it with smoke less oxygen is getting to your baby which can cause defects.

What's the point of one every other week? It doesn't sound like you have an addiction, so why bother? Look at a cigarette box and that'll answer your question.

Definitely. You should do some research on it. Maybe if you read what harm it can cause you're baby you'll be able to completely stop. Goodluck
