evening primrose oil

Doctor says my cervix is really long and thick.  First pregnancy I was induced at 42 weeks and was 0% effaced and a fingertip dialated.  I do not want that again.  Any one have luck with evening primrose oil softening their cervix?

One tip I have is to lay on your side and put a pillow under the belly.  It has helped me the last few times we've had sex.

Omg I know!! That's the only thing that my doctor told me will help. I'm 39 weeks and I can't imagine having sex, we haven't had sex in months lol. I told my hubby it will help though so our plan is to try to get it on tonight. I just hope I can handle it lol.

My doctor told me sex once a day.  The seman will help is what he said.  I just can't imagine once a day though.  37+2 and I'm so uncomfortable,  I can barley sleep.  Sex is way harder then sleeping lol

I've also been drinking the raspberry leaf tea for a week. I'm 39 weeks, not dilated, not effaced.

I just posted about this on my thread. I've been taking it for 4 days now and it hasn't helped at all :/ some people swear by it but I think it's just our bodies. My doctor said I can take it but it's pretty much worthless

I just had my third baby not long ago, when I went in to deliver, I was 5 .5 cm dilated.
Here's a couple tips: put one 1,000 ml evening primrose oil capsule on your cervix, n take one orally, every day.
Drink raspberry leaf tea, three times a day. U can boil cinnamon sticks, and drink the tea, its delicious, and good for your body.
Walk a mile a day if u can. And sex, of Course.
I started taking epo at 36 weeks, n doing everything else at 38, had my baby at 40 weeks, in less then three hours. No tears, nothing! Its very beneficial... Good luck

My sister in law took it from 36 weeks. You take 1 pill 3 times a day for 2 weeks week 38 you take 2 pills 3 times daily and 39 3 pills 3 times a day. You can also break the capsules and rub some oil inside and around the vagina area. She had her baby one day before her due date and had minimal tearing only like 2 stitches I think. She also drank a lot of raspberry leaf tea. I'm not sure if this helps but she said she would use the primrose oil again
