someone please answer, narco pain medicine

Almost this whole pregnancy I've has kidney stones and they put Me through so much pain but there's nothing doctors can do since I'm pregnant I'm currently 33 weeks and it's starting to hurt everyday I went to my doctor the other day with so much blood in my urine and now I go to a kidney ultrasound the 30th but lately I've been having to take a pain pill everyday cause it always starts to hurt.. And Tylenol doesn't help at all.. I just feel so guilty for taking to them cause I don't want my Baby addicted but the pain is also unbearable.. :( idk what to do

I agree with all the above info. I have degenerative disc disorder and had to take Percocet this entire pregnancy and my last... My son was fine with no signs of withdrawl. Was told with this pregnancy that the doctors tend to far withdrawl with stronger longer lasting drugs like methadone.

Im In The Same Situation Expect With Gallstones & Take Tylenol Combined With Narco & My Doctor Said Its Perfectly Fine & While I Was In The Hospital For It I Was On Morphine That I Got To Control Myself & It Was Fine Also ! I Was Scared At First But The Pain Is Unbearable So I Made Sure It Was Safe ! Hope You Feel Better !

In my opinion as a nurse,  it's one of those situations where the benefits outweigh the risk.  Kidney stones are no joke. You're only taking one a day so if there are withdrawals it won't be too bad or long.  The doc is aware so they'll be monitoring the baby. You have to take care of you too mama.

During this pregnancy I had to have surgery and afterwards they gave me morphine and tramadol. I also was on diazepam for a couple of weeks. If its all prescribed by your dr he will be up to date with what doses are safe and when to stop the meds for baby. If you doubt his knowledge then I would get a second opinion. Good luck!
