low progesterone

I am 13 weeks and 1 day today with my first... my doctors office called the other day and told me my blood work and everything came back fine... except i have low progesterone and that can cause miscarriage. . I am now taking medication to raise my levels... im just worried now has anyone else had this problem and found out so late??

Ok well thanks ladies... so i guess it just means my placenta needs to take place soon. im sure everything is fine

My level s were low too at 8 weeks..the pills really help..im now 34+3

Im on it. I've been taking it since about 5 weeks my  dr wants me to take it up until 16 weeks. He said thats when the placenta can take over.

I had my blood work done when i was 12 weeks because i went to a new doctor... just finally got approved for medicaid at 12 weeks. The doc called me and said to the progesterone meds that they told me to take. So i just hope everything is ok... i go to my next appointment may 9th we will see then

I dont think you need to be taking progesterone now. The placenta will be making it now and will have been for a few weeks.  When did you have the bloods done?
