I think a lot of people say that because a lot of people assume spicy foods will cause an increase in bowel movements, diarrhea, etc. and that sometimes brings on labor if it's intensified.. but I'd definitely say no.

I have a colon disease.. and if what I eat hasn't brought on labor, I highly doubt it'll affect you lol - God bless you though.. I can't even eat pepperoni pizza without waking up at 5:00 a.m. with HORRIBLE heartburn!!!! lol

Nope. I hate hot sauce on literally everything my last pregnancy and I had to be induced because I was overdue. My friend ate everything spicy with her daughter and also had to be induced from being over due

No. "Spicy" foods will not send you into early labour. Remember lots of women in other countries have babies and their daily diet is what we might consider "spicy". If you feel sick, stop eating it. The most it can do is upset your stomach and/or cause you heart burn. I eat Indian curry and hot salsa all the time. :) yummy!!
