I'm 27 weeks and I want to get spray tanned. I know this is a no no but I'm just wondering who else has done it.

I agree...  I want to get a spray tans nd highlight my hair. I could just wait the 40 weeks but I want to feel better about myself and sometimes these simple things can help with that. :)

You are not anywhere near a bad mom, or risking your child over a spray tan lol. I got them with my first pregnancy and this one. Some people just like to voice their ridiculous opinions with litter facts behind it. It makes them feel more superior.

BTW most spray tans that aren't in the booth, use natural ingredients now. At least here in Texas.

Its 100% fine....some people sadly are so over the top they think blinking is bad! Spray tanning is fine after 13 weeks also you can color your hair after 13 weeks...my dr is the #1 dr in my state and she says after 13 weeks its fine. Someone comparing this to smoking in a car with kids in it isnt a liable source!! Happy Tanning xo

Perfectly fine. I owned a tanning salon for 10 years. I sprayed MANY pregnant women!

Wow eesscot that's like saying its OK to smoke in a car with children, you breath smoke everyday in town/city/world.

Chemicals are chemicals.

Its the mothers choice to do what she wants but pregnancy is the first step in motherhood and making good choices is a must as a mother. When you are a mother your choices need to be made for both people.

Also if you look up articles on spray tan the majority say to use with caution when pregnant.

You'll be fine. Just don't eat/breath in the stuff. It's a heck of a lot better than regular tanning!  Don't worry about it. You breath in chemicals every day simply living in a polluted town/city/world.

Well my dr said it's fine. I have done it enough I know how to hold my breath like the lady tells me too. I don't use an automatic booth, I get it done by my friend at my house. So there is plenty of ventilation. Do some research if it makes you feel better, or talk to your dr about it.

I would not use this, you are saying chemicals in your body and breathing them in and so is your baby.

Your only pregnant for 40 weeks so just wait then get them as much as your like.

Why would a spray tan be a no? I get them all the time, and in between spray tans I use victoria secrets bronzing lotion.
