Toxoplasmosis Question

I think (I hope) I am overreacting, but wanted to see what other people thought.

Last night I made boxed mac and cheese for dinner. You know the little silver pouch the cheese comes in? I cut it open with scissors and poured it over the noodles. The family ate dinner.

After dinner I did dishes, and that's when I noticed for the first time the scissors had dirt on the blades. Come to find out a household member had used them while gardening about 6 weeks ago and failed to clean them before putting them away.

Now I'm freaking out because I know toxo can come from soil. Is it possible the shears contaminated the opening of the bag when I cut it open, thereby contaminating the cheese I poured in? Worried I might have ingested something ingested shouldn't have. The shears were dirty, but it had been 6 weeks, so maybe what was on them was no longer an issue by then? Hubby thinks I'm overreacting and being crazy, I hope he's right. I do have a routine appt. Tomorrow so did plan to ask, but wanted to throw this out there. I'm 16 wks btw.

Whats hard is its done. You cant cry over spilled milk. You can only move on from there.
Something that can give you some ease of mind is that your body is built to protect that baby. When you eat germs, most never get to that baby. You have your stomach and organs to filter any toxins from affecting your little one. Keep in mind that the chances of you or the baby from getting sick from that small amount of garden soil is not as likely as you think. The odds seem in your favor.

Toxoplasmosis comes from cat feces in dirt that isn't cleaned within 24 hrs.

While it probably is possible that it could have happened, I don't think that there would be enough of the germs to cause any harm. I'm not a doctor or anything,  but we come in contact with so many germs and stuff on a daily basis that it is really unlikely that it could have produced enough to harm you or the baby or anyone else in the family. I know I have been warned about it because I have two cats, but my dr said that the only real danger would be if I was injesting a lot of the cat waste. Which does not happen at all lol.
