40+5 and still waiting. Had membrane sweep 2 days ago :-( xx
Yes got to go back to hospital in morning for my blood pressure checking because if it's still high they are going to induce me xx
Have you or your doctor considered inducing your labor?
A membrane sweep is when the midwife puts her finger up your vagina and separates the cervix from your water sack. This apparently sets off a hormone to naturally induce labour. It's abit uncomfy to have done but supposed to be very effective. Im still hoping it works for me as it can take 48 hours to release the hormone I go back tomorrow to b checked again xx
Sorry if this is a silly question but this is my first pregnancy and im trying to find out as much as I can what is a membrane sweep and good luck with everything hope it halpens for u soon xx
